New Records Set!

Congrats to Aiden Monfort, Avery Rohr and Andy Jiang for breaking some records last night at the meet in Troy Dolphin.

Aiden now holds the Boys 11-12-25 Breast record with a new time of 18.90 replacing the old time of 19.53 held by Andy set in 2019.

Avery holds the Boys 13-14-50 Back with a time of 34.46 breaking his own record of 35.27 set in 2021

Andy added to his record totals in the 15-18-50 Fly with a new time of 27.11 replacing the old record of 28.75 set by Ezra Ferguson in 2018. Andy also set the new record for the Boys 15-18-200 IM with a new time of 1:02.96 replacing the old time of 1:04.44 also held by Ezra set in 2018

2022 Swim Season Parent Meeting recap

Here are the bullet points from the Swim & Dive parent meeting on April 7, 2022.

  • The 2022 season begins June 1 with practice. Registration, payment, & emergency medical forms are due by May 31
  • Swim Suit try ons in the HS commons from 4p-7p, May 3
  • T-Shirt orders are due by May 13

2021 Swim & Dive Season

2021 Swim and Dive Season forms and information is now posted on this site.

Practice will begin Monday June 7. The practice schedule has been updated and is posted here on this website. Click on the practice link for practice times.

The Barracudas will have 5 meets this year which includes a tri-meet. Swimmers will also have the option to swim in a pentathlon again this season.

Dive championships are scheduled for Saturday July 10 at Coldwater. Swim B Championships will be held at St Marys on July 12. Swim A Championships are on Saturday July 17 at Celina.

Registration deadline is May 21st. Swim suit try ons will be in the High School Commons from 4p-7p on Monday May 3.

Pictures will be at 5pm on Tuesday June 15 at 5pm. A rain date is set for Wednesday June 16, also at 5pm.

2020 Swim & Dive Season

The 2020 Swim & Dive Season organizational meetings have been taking place.  At this time we are hopeful of starting the season on time with the first day of practice scheduled for Monday, June 1.

I want to thank the parents again for helping out at the start of the meet as well as the rest of the bull pen workers, timers, & officials.  There were clearly some planning issues last night. Myself and the rest of the committee work together so that WE can be prepared for OUR home meets.
